McKinney Cattle is a diversified ranching operation located north of Weskan, Kansas along the banks of Willow Creek. The total herd consists of 500 mother cows with a division devoted to club calf production. Artificial insemination to the top bulls available is used as well as embryo transfer in partnership with Reiss Club Calves. While most of the club calf production is devoted to black crossbreds there is a small herd of shorthorns as well.

McKinney Cattle is a member of the Wallace County club calf producers and markets their show steers and heifers through the annual sale the Saturday before Labor Day. This year’s sale will be Saturday, September 1. Bids close at 5 p.m. mountain time. This year’s calves are sired by Heat Wave, Golden Child, Money Talks, Sonny-n-Clear, Man Child, White boy, and Ali.

We hope you enjoy browsing through our website and take a minute to come look at our calves in person. We look forward to seeing you.
